Fierce competition from several professional Practices proved to be no match for our proven track record and excellent service. And we were successfully reappointed as The British Library's Managing Agent for a second three year term.

The British Library's Boston Spa estate represented quite a challenge. There is a large site in Yorkshire with thirty buildings, and another four sites located around London. All these buildings vary considerably in age and type, and each one has complex building services - many of which are unique to The British Library.

We have a senior engineer working direct from site providing a comprehensive portfolio of reactive and proactive services.

• The management and monitoring of the measured term contractors.
• Tendering and procurement of building and engineering Measured Term Contractors.
• Producing condition surveys, forward maintenance plans and asset registers.
• Project managing space utilisation studies and any resultant works.
• Management of the building and engineering maintenance budgets.
• Provide Construction (Design and Management) Regulations advice and undertake Planning Supervisor duties.
• The design, specification and procurement of alteration and repair contracts.
• The management of other consultants appointed by the Library.
• The maintenance of Computer Aided Design (CAD) records for all buildings.
